Deals app Clipp launches new website and partnership

Clipp allows consumers to discover venues and access food and drink deals, as well as split bills within the app, without the use of cash or card.

As well as an updated app, Clipp has launched a new website that enables customers to access the platform through any desktop or mobile browser.

A new partnership with Dimmi will see Clipp offer an integrated booking functionality for its venues that are connected to Dimmi.

Clipp CEO Allan Evans said a booking function was the most requested feature from users.

“Our goal is to offer our users – Clippsters – a rich experience and help them discover venues they might not have considered and make it easier and quicker to get through the transactional side of a night out,” he said.

“The relaunch builds on our foundation and gives our customers the features they’ve been asking for over the years, including booking a venue directly though Clipp.”

The update also allows users to leave and read reviews on venues, add venues to a Favourites List, and view food and drink menus.

Users can also now “bank” their dollars saved from a Clipp deal (which previously had to be used on the spot) for use at other venues.

“The new features help us tap into our role of helping Australians discover their cities and helps drive patronage in bars, pubs and restaurants,” said Evans.
