Foodservice Australia raises the bar even higher at new Sydney venue in 2018
The new Restaurant of the Year competition joins a line-up including the National Restaurant Conference, the Savour Patissier of the Year competition, Chef of the Year and the biennial Bocuse d’Or Australian Selection.
“Next year we will host a brand new restaurant competition staged by the Australian Culinary Federation (ACF), called ‘Restaurant of the Year’, which will see restaurant teams compete in live kitchens on the show floor.”
As the ACF’s Battle of the Pacific event, Restaurant of the Year will complement the longstanding Chef of the Year competition, which over the past decade has become one of the country’s leading contests for professional chefs.
Running from May 27-29, the trade-only show will attract over 9000 industry professionals to see more than 300 exhibitors across the show floor, presenting food and beverage products, kitchen equipment, hospitality technology, entertainment, furniture and fittings, and much more.
