Noosa Food & Wine reveals 2018 program

The Noosa Food & Wine Festival has released its 2018 program, with more than 35 events showcasing some of Australia’s best chefs happening throughout the region on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

From May 17-20, the events will take place at the Festival Village, under the tipis on Noosa Main Beach, along Hastings Street, in signature restaurants and throughout the Noosa hinterland with produce and brewery trails.

Guest chefs include celebrity Miguel Maestre (Maestre Family Food), Colin Fassnidge (Banksia Bistro), Alessandro Pavoni (Ormeggio), Christine Manfield, Kirsten Tibballs (Savour Chocolate & Patisserie School), Adam D’Sylva (Coda/Tonka), Zack Furst (Ides), Charley Snadden Wilson (Embla), Lauren Aldridge (Stokehouse), Alanna Sapwell (St Peter), Emma McCaskill (The Pot Adelaide), Jo Barrett (Oakridge), Nick Stanton (Ramblr), Victor Liong (Lee Ho Fook), Matt Stone (Oakridge), Monty Koludrovic (Icebergs), Brendon Barker (Madam Wu), Massimo Mele, Jordan Toft (Coogee Pavilion, Merivale), Matt Wilkinson (Pope Joan), Analiese Gregory (Franklin), Shaun Clouston (Logan Brown,NZ), Giovanni Pilu (Pilu at Freshwater),Tony Percuoco (Tartufo), Paul Carmichael and Kylie Javier Ashton (Momofuku Seiōbo).

The Long Lunch on Hastings Street returns in 2018.

The Festival Village will return to the Noosa Lions Park with key events including: the Producers Pavilion, showcasing the region’s finest artisan producers; Taste of Noosa, with some of Noosa’s best restaurants on show; celebrity chef cooking demonstrations; and a Craft Beer & Cider Corner.

The Long Lunch on Hastings Street will take place on May 19 and will feature Noosa Beach House, Season, Boardwalk Bistro, Aromas, Locale, Bistro C, Café Le Monde and Rococo.

There will also be a line-up of Tipi Events on Noosa Main Beach, while Produce and Brewery Trails will take place across the Noosa hinterland.
