Vegemite unveils new ‘premium’ spread, Blend 17
The limited edition blend is said to be “richer and sweeter”, while the brand has swapped its original yellow and red branding for a black and gold jar.
It appears the recipe hasn’t changed, but the way the spread has been blended gives it a “bolder” finish.
Customer response has been mixed, with one Facebook user saying “What was wrong with the old one” and another saying “No I’ll stick to the original thanks”. But overall the public’s reaction has been positive, with Vegemite’s Facebook post receiving more than 5000 likes in three days.
